The Associated Press called the presidential race for Joe Biden on Saturday morning.

Half of America is celebrating the results while the other half is questioning the legitimacy of the current ballot-counting process.

Biden delivered a “pre” victory speech with supporters flooding the streets to express their support, yet, the country may be weeks away from actually receiving an official answer.

In a press conference last week, Michigan GOP Chairwoman Laura Cox pointed out a software glitch in the county’s voting system equipment and stated, “In Antrim County, ballots were counted for Democrats that were meant for Republicans, causing a 6,000 vote swing against our candidates. The county clerk came forward and said, ‘tabulating software glitched and caused a miscalculation of the votes.’

Since then, it has been discovered that 47 other counties also used the same voting system software.

President Trump has declared that there is only one place that can determine the presidential winner: the U.S. Supreme Court.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, along with nine other state attorneys general, said the justices should block a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision that allowed mail-in ballots delivered after Election Day to be counted.

The Republican state officials claim the mail-in ballots are susceptible to fraud. Experts are saying that even if the Supreme Court invalidates the ballots, it may not affect the presidential race outcome unless the election was decided by a slim margin in Pennsylvania.

Trump said in a statement on Saturday that the campaign will start prosecuting their case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated.

As the investigation continues, medical company Pfizer, announced Monday that its vaccine achieved a 90% success rate. But the vaccine may have come a little too late to stop a possible COVID second wave. Countries throughout Europe are seeing their highest daily caseloads since the pandemic started. Belgium is now the epicenter of rising COVID cases, with Europe’s highest per-capita case rate.

While the announcement brings a glimmer of hope, it’s too early to know for sure if the Pfizer vaccine will be the vaccine we’ve all been waiting for.

Back in May, Moderna was the frontrunner for the COVID vaccine and announced positive phase 1 results, but vaccine researchers pointed out that it was too preliminary and vague to tell if it actually worked.
